Paul began his broadcasting career as an on-air radio
personality in his hometown of Tucson, Arizona. Not long after his introduction to television news, the former Ambassador
of Goodwill to Mexico was reporting internationally and had won several first-place Associated Press Awards.
He was also featured as a guest on the Oprah Winfrey Show for his excellence in reporting while working in Tucson.
With a television news background at KCAL in Hollywood, Paul has worked behind
the camera as a Production Assistant for Fox Sports and as an Associate Producer at NBC Network News. Most recently
he was a Sports Anchor and Reporter in Las Vegas, Nevada where he covered some of the biggest professional boxing matches
in recent history. He was also a News and Sports Reporter at KOLD-TV and KVOA-TV in Tucson, and has served as
a Bureau Chief and Reporter in Yuma, Arizona at both KSWT-TV and KYMA-TV.
In his spare time, Paul has served as a teacher and mentor to at-risk youth
and has taught English as a Second Language. He
graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with
a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish Linguistics and Literature. He also graduated Valedictorian of
Tuscon's
Desert View High School.
